Dubai, get ready to laugh again this month as the Dubai Comedy Festival returns for its third edition. Held for 10 days from May 12th to May 21st, the festival will showcase top comedians from around the world. 5. Water skills

There’s nothing like a circus show for some meaningful family time. As such multidimensional shows have recently sprung up in the country, the Fontana Circus Show is one of them. Located in the Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi, it is the first traveling water circus in the Middle East. Produced by Cirque du Liban and brought to you by HAT Entertainment, Fontana features breathtaking live entertainment including artistic circus acts, dancing musical fountains, trapeze shows, special effects, laser shows and more. The show will run from April 18th to July 2nd from 9am to 9pm. The show is suitable for children aged two and up.

6. Always Mother’s Day

If you’re celebrating Mother’s Day in May, this is the one for you. Award-winning Spanish restaurant Lola Taberna is offering all mothers an upgraded sparkling set menu on Sunday, May 7, giving families the chance to enjoy a Sunday paella brunch from 1-4pm. Guests can dine on delicious traditional Spanish dishes, including paella, while toasting the special woman in their life in a family-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is located at the TRYP by Wyndham Hotel in Dubai.
