Abu Dhabi Police Department (ADP), in collaboration with the Follow-Up and Control Center and within the framework of its ‘You Comment’ initiative and ‘Road Safety’ campaign, has released a video showing the consequences of not leaving enough cordon coming risk. In this case the vehicle will be impounded for a maximum of 3 months until the fine is paid.

If payment is not made, the vehicle will be sold in a public auction.

In addition, Item ’52’ of Traffic Control Rules and Procedures ‘178’ 2017 will apply to violating drivers who do not keep a sufficient safe distance as they will be fined Dhs400 and 4 black traffic points.
