Emirati and 3 Indian expats each win $27,247 in Big Lottery e-draw

[ad_1]

During the month of April, Big Ticket’s Guaranteed Weekly Electronic Draw gives four customers the chance to win Dh100,000 each week. The latest round of winners includes a driver, a government employee and an electrical technician.

Lineesh Mekkottemal, an Indian national who works as a driver in Dubai, bought 7 Big Tickets with 10 friends. Lineesh said he would send his portion of the winnings back to India. He has vowed to keep buying Big Tickets and has already purchased tickets as part of a May promotion.

Sultan Alshehyari, a UAE national from Abu Dhabi, was overjoyed after receiving the news from the Big Ticket representative as he did not expect to win the e-draw. Sultan bought his ticket from the Big Ticket website, took advantage of the buy 2 get 2 free promotion, and selected the winning ticket numbers that matched his daughter’s birthday. The lucky UAE winner plans to invest Dh100,000 in the stock market.

Ajith Gopina, a Dubai resident and electrical technician, has been buying big tickets with ten of his friends for the past six years. Asked what he planned to do with his share of the winnings, Aguis revealed he intends to set aside the money for his daughter’s future education, as she soon begins university studies. He also said that he would continue to buy Big Tickets in the future, and encouraged others to stick to their luck and not lose hope.

Another Indian expatriate living in the UAE was the lucky fourth in the weekly e-draw.

Satheesan Thazhathayin bought his lucky ticket online on April 27 and won the Dh100,000 e-draw prize on May 1.

Big Ticket customers who purchase raffle tickets in May will automatically enter the weekly e-draw and stand a chance to be one of three winners to win Dh100,000 or one of 20 winners to win Dh10, weekly 000. The same ticket will give them the chance to win the AED 20 million jackpot or one of seven other life-changing cash prizes on June 3. Fans of Big Ticket can purchase online at www.bigticket.ae or at in-store counters at Abu Dhabi International Airport and Al Ain International Airport until 31 May.
