Abu Dhabi: The UAE Cyber Security Council has issued a warning to all government and private institutions in the country, urging them to remain vigilant against potential cyberattacks on the nation’s infrastructure and digital assets.
The committee stressed the importance of being prepared for all types of cyber threats and required entities to activate their cyber emergency response systems.
To better respond to potential attacks, the committee called for greater cooperation and coordination between the government and the private sector. This includes proactively sharing data with relevant authorities in response to emerging malicious cyber activity.
The committee also highlighted the need for vital sectors to activate protective systems and cybersecurity policies, while raising awareness of suspicious cyber activity that could pose a threat to their environment.
