The Metropolitan Department said there was a possibility of fog forming and reduced horizontal visibility, with further reductions possible in some inland and coastal areas between 00:00 and 09:00 on Saturday morning (April 6).
Abu Dhabi Police urged motorists to exercise caution due to reduced visibility during the fog. Drivers have been warned about the change to the speed limit and the new speed displayed on electronic information boards.
The weather in the country is generally fine on Saturday, with some convective clouds likely to form eastwards in the afternoon. The temperature will gradually increase.
Wet conditions Saturday night and Sunday morning, with some coastal and inland areas likely to experience fog or mist. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds at times 10 – 25 to 35 km/h. The seas in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman will be small.
