Steady Chouhan moves up to 33rd in Abu Dhabi Challenge

ABU DHABI, May 6 (PTI) – Indian golfer Om Prakash Chouhan shot a solid 1-under 71 in the third round from the Abu Dhabi Challenge, UAE, here on Saturday. The 40th in has moved up 7 places.

Chouhan shot 2 under par and tied for 33rd.

Winners of the Black Bull Challenge hope to progress to the DP World Tour through one of the 20 cards available on the Challenge Tour or by topping the PGTI Tour in India, currently 11th on the road to the Majorca rankings .

Manuel Elvira had a 7-under 65 to take the lead into Saadiyat Beach after an impressive 7-under Last day at the golf club.

The 26-year-old Spaniard birdied three of his opening four holes to start his round two shots behind partner Craig Howey for a solo lead. He made eight birdies and made a bogey to top the leaderboard at 14-under par, one more under par than Germany’s Maximilian Rottluff. The par 12 was two shots higher.
