Several pavilions of the Expo are designed for children and young people

Before the upcoming World Expo, Dubai schools are preparing to plan an educational journey in their own way.

Many of them organized free bus tours for their students to participate in large-scale events, giving them the opportunity to witness the future of the world with their own eyes.

The World Expo will be held from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, and the design of its multiple pavilions takes children and young people into consideration.

Alya Al-Ali, vice president of the Expo School Project, explained that each of the four planned journeys will provide students with an immersive and unforgettable experience. “In line with the diverse school curricula in the UAE, our school trip is an excellent opportunity for us to bring students’ classrooms to life and supplement various academic subjects with unique, inspiring and interactive exhibitions,” she said.

In turn, principals across the country expressed their belief that Expo 2020 will prove to be a good educational experience, thanks to its numerous child-friendly activities, workshops, interactive exhibitions and performances.

Punit MK Vasu, CEO of The Indian High Group of Schools, pointed out that the 50th anniversary of the UAE coincides with a milestone of their own, and Indian high schools have also completed 60 years. The group will make its own gesture of support and celebration by arranging expo school trips and freely transporting all students to participate in the expo.

“Earlier this year, we launched our Diamond Jubilee logo 60@50@2020, which echoes the outstanding achievements and unparalleled success of the UAE’s 50-year golden year, which is a huge leap forward from the 2020 World Expo. The logo It reflects our close connection with the World Expo in the UAE and its history,” he said.

Other schools in Dubai have organized similar events to provide free transportation to the Expo site-this expo promises to take children on an extraordinary adventure, including immersive performances, chorus, dance parties and drama productions.

Deepika Thapar Singh, CEO and Principal of Credence High School, said: “Expo 2020 will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our students and teachers. We are all very happy to visit the pavilion and learn.”

She pointed out that the school has booked dates for all students to visit the Expo-from pre-kindergarten to grade 12. “According to the time period we received, students, accompanied by teachers, will be taken to the Expo site on different days. “They will visit different pavilions on sustainability, mobility, and opportunity according to their age group— And other exhibition halls.
