Rapper Joyner Lucas attacked Karen Civil on social media on the grounds that he accepted a $60,000 consulting job but never insisted on it. In a series of tweets, Joyner said he had waited many years to comment on the situation.
Joyner said his son was “on the road” when the theft occurred in 2015. The rapper claimed that Karen’s attitude towards him changed after receiving the money.
“I desperately need help, you know that,” Joyner wrote on Twitter. “After you got paid, you became a ghost. I didn’t expect me to become popular. Here I am.”
In the attachment to the tweet, he shared a “marketing brand management” document detailing the scope of work, content and marketing plan, analysis and transaction memos. After that tweet, Joyner continued to provide insights about the alleged interaction that took place.
Joyner wrote: “After you prepaid the money, you no longer answer my calls. Every time I call you, you answer the phone as if I messed up your day.” “I’ll give you. Sending you good news, I beg you to do your job well, because I have my back to the wall. You take advantage.”
Joyner later admitted that the reason why he didn’t say it earlier was because he “don’t want to be hacked” at the beginning of his career. A few years ago, when Cam’ron called Karen on Twitter, Joyner also saw his opportunity. Subsequently, Joyner claimed that Karen tried to make him apologize publicly. He shared the text thread exchange between Karen and his partner.
His accusation did not end there. Joyner also accused Karen of making harsh comments about calling her and shooting a white boy.
After Joyner’s extensive comments, Karen Civil provided The Shade Room with an exclusive statement. She denies She stole money from him, saying that “all parties signing the contract” on his behalf used the budget to pay. She also resolved some of his claims, including a public apology for Joyner.
“After Joyner filed a claim for the first time, his manager called me to correct the situation. I said that we could happily discuss after a public apology because he used the same platform to deal with the money taken from him. Lie,” Karen wrote. “I just recorded the phone call for future situations like this.”
Karen also said that she and Joyner both had a conversation with Chalaman this morning. She claimed that they agreed to talk over the phone, but Joyner chose social media.
“Nothing has been stolen or taken from you,” Karen wrote. “Unfortunately, some artists think they can visit you 24/7.”
