Lil Baby recently criticized New York-based jeweller Rafaello & Co. on social media for selling him a fake Patek Philippe watch worth $400,000. The jeweler responded by posting a lengthy apology on Instagram.
“I personally want to apologize to Lil Baby because I didn’t do my best when selling Patek Philippe watches to him,” the company said in their Instagram story. “I should check it after purchasing the watch from the dealer. I am fully responsible for not doing the work correctly. Personally, I will never deliberately sell anything that is not 100% authentic to him or anyone else.”
This ordeal began earlier this week when Little baby posted Watch his Instagram story. He wrote: “40th Anniversary!! No. The “regular” and “400k” on the fake Patek Philippe photos. Soon after, he created a post and tagged Patek Philippe this time saying “Understand why I need to be on the list.” He continued: “The after-sales jeweler will let me do things I shouldn’t do. “
At first, the rap star didn’t know which jeweler sold him expensive accessories. However, he cleared the mystery by naming the company in a short paragraph on Friday night. This section is the title of his video showing off the huge ice ring. Each ring is a sparkling letter in the word “four.” If you don’t know, this Atlanta-born artist is the owner of the record company 4PF, which represents four pockets.
Lil Baby wrote on Instagram: “Rafaello & Co is now clearer than selling fakes or anything that can be called fakes to everyone.” “I insist on my name the way you should! When it comes to this deal It’s not a mistake when it comes to money. Don’t fucking play with me, because when I’m doing it, I’m doing it.”
In their apology, Rafaello & Co. revealed that Lil Baby received the free ring in the video “as [their] Sincere apologies. They also made sure to make a direct record of Lil Baby’s ice games, saying that “Lil Baby” “especially his jewelry and watches” “has nothing false.”
Allegedly, he also received 400,000 U.S. dollars in compensation.
