“The Kelly Clarkson Show” is moving production from Los Angeles to New York City. “NBC Studios at 30 Historic Rockefeller Plaza will be the new home” for the syndicated daytime talk show, which airs locally on WNBC/4, an NBCUniversal spokesperson told Newsday in a statement Tuesday. The show, currently in its fourth season and hosted by country music star and “The Voice” coach Clarkson, “will be filmed at the iconic 6A Studios, featuring late-night talk show hosts Jimmy Fallon, David Letterman and Conan O. The former residence of “Brien,” was upgraded with “a new state-of-the-art studio, technology facility and support space. ”
The show and its crew were nominated for 11 Daytime Emmy Awards last month, including for Daytime Talk Show Series and Daytime Talk Show Series Host. “The Kelly Clarkson Show” won the former category of entertainment talk show in 2021 and 2022, and Clarkson himself won the entertainment talk show host award for three consecutive years from 2020 to 2022.
