Lamborghini Abu Dhabi and Dubai is proud to announce the launch of its first esports project, The Real Race, aimed at engaging and motivating students in the UAE. An exciting competition is planned for this May, with participants vying for a chance at the international final at the Nürburgring, Germany in July. Lamborghini’s commitment to innovation and its passion for motorsport have led to this initiative, which aims to foster and showcase emerging talent in the automotive world, not only through its iconic cars, but also by engaging enthusiasts in a virtual e-sports arena.
Lamborghini Abu Dhabi & Dubai is the first dealer in the world to participate in Automobili Lamborghini’s The Real Race programme, which visits leading schools and universities in the UAE to identify and discover the country’s best student racing ‘drivers’.
Aspiring student racers who record best lap performances will have the opportunity to showcase their skills at Lamborghini’s Abu Dhabi and Dubai showrooms. The top three semi-finalists will have the chance to compete in The Real Race final at the Nürburgring, Germany this July. There, they will compete against the best racing drivers from around the world to win races and become Official Lamborghini Esports Drivers. The 2022 competition drew 2,751 entrants and more are expected this year.
