Alserkal Street in Al Quoz is packed with art galleries, fashionable cafes and cool dining concepts, independent cinemas, theaters showcasing local talent, and more. The new season of the show will kick off with Alserkal Lates on Wednesday, September 22.
From 6pm to 10pm that day, art lovers, creatives and foodies will have many activities to see and do.
This is what you expect in Alserkal Lates this year
For art lovers
On September 22, some galleries and non-profit spaces on Alserkal Avenue will kick off the season with a new exhibition.
Saw a series of colorful abstract paintings called Magic garden In Leila Heller Gallery (above), Mestaria Gallery’s abstract and semi-abstract artworks and sculptures, one named Change practice At Firetti Contemporary and so on.
A new art gallery called Volte Art Projects will also open. The exhibition kicked off, with artists from Europe, South Africa, India and the United States showing installations connected through art, technology and nature.

For creative creators
Want to be creative? During the Alserkal Lates, I went to Âme Artistic Studio to participate in the Ikebana workshop. You will learn traditional and ancient Japanese flower arrangement art. The course starts at 6 pm to 8 pm.
For foodies
For food lovers, there will be food trucks in the back alleys and they can refuel before visiting another art gallery.
Fans of sweets, hunt down Swirl by Two, where you can enjoy Insgrammable’s specialty desserts and coffee.
Another café is opened in Le Guepard, an art and cultural center. The space even has a private dining space with chandelier.
