Representatives from more than 80 of the world’s leading travel technology companies are gearing up to participate in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2023, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) from 1-4 May.

During the 30th ATM Show, more than 2,000 square meters of exhibition space will be dedicated to industry technology, with industry participation up 54.7% compared to last year’s show. The travel tech space at ATM 2023 will also be complemented by a brand new Sustainability Center that will spotlight the latest eco-friendly travel trends and innovations.

ATM Travel Tech Stage, sponsored by Saber, will host a series of in-depth panel discussions on how modern innovations such as artificial intelligence, big data and Web3 can enable seamless operations, professional development, payments, accessibility, sustainable travel and an enhanced customer experience.

Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director, Arabian Travel Market ME, said: “My colleagues and I are delighted to see travel technology professionals performing so well at this year’s show. Encouraging innovation is particularly relevant to ATM 2023 as it is our theme “Strive to achieve net “Zero Emissions” is an essential part of our industry. Our industry must support and invest in today’s most promising technologies in order to build a better, more sustainable tourism industry for future generations.”

The ATM Travel Tech Stage, sponsored by Saber, will host a series of innovation-focused discussions and events throughout the show. The first session, “Technology: An Enabler for Sustainable Travel,” will feature industry experts discussing how online tools are making it easier for consumers to reduce their environmental impact when purchasing and planning travel.

The ATM Travel Tech Stage will also provide context for other select panels, including “Key Trends Affecting Travel to 2023 and Beyond”. This session, in partnership with Saber, will explore how our industry is harnessing innovation in the wake of the global pandemic, and how technology may drive further advancements in the years to come.

For the first time in the show’s history, ATM 2023 will feature a Sustainability Center. The space will house a conference dedicated to the latest sustainable travel trends and innovations, as well as the ATM 2023 Startup Competition – an event hosted by conference partner Plug and Play where entrepreneurs will go head-to-head in “Sustainable Technology Promotion Conference”.

In addition to the aforementioned exhibitors, the technology segment of ATM 2023 will host a variety of other industry-leading exhibitors including Itrip, Traveazy DMCC, TBO.com, WebBeds FZ LLC, and Expedia Inc, to name a few. In total, ATM Travel Tech Stage will host more than 20 innovation-focused sessions and events during the four-day event.

The 30th edition of ATM will explore the future of sustainable tourism under its theme ‘Towards Net Zero’. Following the official launch of the Net Zero Tour, the conference program will explore how innovative sustainable travel trends may evolve, allowing delegates to identify growth strategies for key verticals, while providing a platform for regional experts to explore a sustainable future ahead of COP28, It will be held in Dubai Expo City in November 2023.

The conference will also, for the first time, include a sustainability category in its annual exhibitor awards. Exhibiting organizations will be recognized based on how well they consider the environmental impact of their booth and their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint.
