Missiles hit Ternopil city on Saturday as Eurovision Song Contest takes place(Ternopil City Council)

Shortly before the band took the stage in Liverpool, Russian missiles reportedly hit Ukraine’s home city of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Two people were wounded in the city of Ternopil, local army officer Volodymyr Trush said.



The city is home to Ukrainian actor Tvorchi, who performed inside the Liverpool Arena shortly after the strike.
