Coyotes President and CEO Xavier A. Gutierrez said in a statement that the franchise’s next move “will be evaluated by our owners and the National Hockey League in the coming weeks.”

The $2.1 billion proposal includes a 16,000-seat arena, hotel, shops, restaurants and as many as 1,990 apartments. The 46-acre project proposed by Bluebird Development is also privately funded.

‘The National Hockey League is very disappointed,’ commissioner Gary Bettman said explain About the result of the stadium vote.

Coyotes – lowest value NHL team at $450 million, according to To Forbes — played home games at Arizona State last season with a capacity of just 5,100.
