Etihad Frequent Flyer members increase mileage through new program features activated by Points International

Etihad Airways’ award-winning loyalty program, the national airline of the UAE, has launched a new program feature MilesBooster, supported by the global loyalty business leader. integral (NASDAQ: PCOM) (TSX: PTS).

MilesBooster allows members to double the number of miles they earn from almost any activity-from previous flights or even non-travel-related expenses such as credit card transactions and daily shopping. Members can choose to double or triple the mileage earned in the past 12 months when paying special mileage rates. Those who take advantage of this new benefit can add up to 150,000 miles per year, depending on their level status.

Miles can be redeemed for almost everything, including flights, upgrades, shopping, gift cards and so on. As a result, the Etihad Frequent Flyer Program has won awards including the Steve Award, Middle East Business Traveler and WINA Award.

Points began to cooperate with the UAE national airline in 2014; to provide Etihad frequent flyer members with a new way to get more value from miles, and to create a new source of income for the loyalty program.
