Green Planet, a four-story bio-dome on Dubai City Walk, brings back the experience of ‘camping in the rainforest’ – the only indoor immersive experience that feels like you’re in the wild.
Every Friday and Saturday from June 2 through September 29, this unique experience is part of The Green Planet’s commitment to raising awareness of the importance of nature conservation and educating guests about the creation of our planet.
Explorers are invited to pre-book beginning May 18 for a unique overnight experience among the 3,000 exotic plants and animals in the Biodome. Those who have experienced the wonders of the green planet during the day will have the opportunity to explore the rainforest after sunset, when nocturnal activity is at its most active.
The camping adventure begins at 7pm with an overnight stay in one of Green Planet’s cozy tents at the heart of the Tropical Biodome, allowing guests to sleep peacefully surrounded by the unique sounds and feels of the rainforest. Before wrapping up the night, explorers can enjoy a sumptuous feast, watch wildlife documentaries, participate in story time sessions and toast marshmallows around a campfire.
Adventurers of all ages will be entertained by the rainforest’s expert staff, who host games and family-friendly activities as well as lead nighttime excursions that showcase nocturnal animals in all their glory. The next morning, enjoy a nutritious breakfast at the Green Planet Café, including an interactive animal feeding session and an immersive behind-the-scenes tour of the Biodome.
The experience accommodates 25 people per night and offers tents and tents for two and four campers each. Prices start at AED 750 (US$ 204) for two adults in a regular tent, while group bookings for groups of four in a marquee start at AED 1,450. Junior campers can join for AED 200 per child and additional guests for AED 300.
