What is the idea behind Your Company?
The real estate market in Dubai has experienced rapid growth, attracting investments from people around the world. However, purchasing an expensive piece of real estate is only the first step in the process. The next crucial step is to ensure the property is well-maintained, preventing breakdowns and prolonging its lifespan. Recognizing a gap in the market for reliable and top-notch property maintenance and technical services, The Home Team founders established the company in 2012. Since its inception, The Home Team has become a premier maintenance company in Dubai.
Starting from 2018, The Home Team expanded its services to include customized comprehensive solutions for home renovation in Dubai. This expansion aimed to upgrade properties with contemporary designs and fit-outs, ultimately increasing their value and providing owners with a luxurious experience.
How did you embark on your career journey, and do you have any advice for beginners?
I completed my early schooling in the eastern part of India and subsequently graduated with honors in Physics from the University of Kolkata. Following that, I decided to change my career path and pursued Cost and Management Accountancy from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India. I am currently a Fellow Member of the Institute.
During my professional career, I worked as a finance specialist for approximately 16 years in India and 9 years in the UAE. I gained experience across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, information technology, and telecom.
In 2016, I made the decision to embark on an entrepreneurial journey. I began by acquiring The Home Team and have since been leading the company’s diversification and growth. Since the acquisition, we have experienced a remarkable increase in business volumes, exceeding 200%.
For beginners, I would offer the following advice: Treat every job as if it were your own business. Think outside the box and consistently strive to provide recommendations for improvement and innovation. Above all, avoid being a clock-watcher at work. Instead, focus on tasks and targets, aiming to be an achiever.
What is the goal of Your Company? What problem are you solving with it?
We aim to be a “one-stop shop” for all our customers’ renovation and maintenance needs. Within our organization, we cultivate a culture where every staff member is encouraged to treat customer premises as if they were their own. Our top priority is to protect customer property during our work, ensuring that we do not cause any damage while fixing other issues.
Once customers entrust us with their job, we strive to provide a hassle-free experience. We take care of everything from start to finish, ensuring complete satisfaction.

When it comes to digitization of our services, we are not followers; we are leaders. We have implemented a highly sophisticated and fully integrated operating system that seamlessly connects our customers with our service office and job execution team. Through our online platform, customers can conveniently purchase services and track the progress of their work through a dedicated app. This level of accessibility is especially beneficial for customers residing outside the country, as they have real-time access to all relevant information online, ensuring their comfort and peace of mind.

Do you use innovative ideas to be unique?
We are consistently innovating to enhance the digital interface with our customers, making our service packages more customer-friendly, and developing new promotional strategies.
