Last year, Cisco announced picture-in-picture (PiP) functionality for Webex Meetings on iPad and iPhone. This feature enables iOS users to manage their meetings in a separate and compact window, allowing users to efficiently interact with other applications. Webex is now increasing its collaboration capabilities on iPad by introducing multi-window and stage manager support.
Improve focus while multitasking
To meet the diverse needs of users in online conferences, Cisco has developed a solution that provides greater flexibility. Attendees can now view content and documents while remaining fully engaged in the meeting and actively providing feedback via chat. By seamlessly separating shared content and chat into separate windows, users can resize these elements to optimize their viewing experience.

Now, with multiple windows, Cisco allows users to have a powerful desktop experience by connecting the iPad to a Cisco device such as the Cisco Desk Pro or any external display. Users can use the “Move to Display” option to move windows between the iPad and an external display for a great multi-screen experience.
Webex Meetings also now supports Stage Manager, an iPad feature that lets people easily navigate between apps by overlapping and resizing app windows to get the view they want. With the help of Stage Manager, Webex users on iPad can keep their displays organized to improve their focus while working.
