Women’s groups praise Dubai’s support

A group of women entrepreneurs from different industries lauded the role of the Dubai Government’s startup ecosystem in helping women from different backgrounds advance their respective fields on a single platform.

At a roundtable attended by women leaders across industries, prominent and respected businesswoman Nousheen Mukhtar lauded the way the country supports and celebrates women in business.

“Women Entrepreneurs Roundtable is an effort to bring together inspiring and aspiring women for professional and business growth. , fashion, lifestyle, technology, financial management, investing, healthcare and other industries with business connections,” she said.

The number of women entrepreneurs in the UAE has increased to 68% as the country provides a structured support system for women entrepreneurs. The business ecosystem in the UAE provides equal opportunities for women. They may benefit from economic resources, access to ownership and other financial privileges, resulting in stable financial independence. In addition, there are various start-up packages, incubation and mentoring programs available to budding women entrepreneurs to grow and thrive once they step into the entrepreneurial field.

She further noted that the Women’s Entrepreneurs Roundtable had been a successful business event and the new edition of Stylfemina magazine had also been featured.

Stylfemina acts as a voice for women in business, allowing them to share their journey and inspire other women to start their own businesses. Business leaders such as Swati Rajpal, Sophia Bhatti and Alefiyah Johar took to the stage to inspire other business owners. Captain Sahar Rasti and Maryam Saif AlZaabi encourage women to listen to their inner voice, find their true passion and live a life of purpose.

“As more and more women move towards entrepreneurship, the UAE sees a hopeful and more stable economic ecosystem. Of course, capable UAE residents are working hard to build a better future,” she added.
