Global investment platform Investopia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as part of its efforts to forge partnerships with leading local and global institutions.
The latest partnership will facilitate the exchange of expertise and knowledge as well as dialogue between business delegations, in addition to promoting promising investment opportunities in the new economy in the Indo-UAE market.
In addition, under the terms of the agreement, the two parties will jointly organize events and conferences to enhance exchanges at the private sector level, thereby strengthening economic and investment ties between the two countries.
The MoU was signed by Badreya Al Maidoor, Assistant Undersecretary, Support Services, UAE Ministry of Economy; and Sanjiv Bajaj, Chairman, CII, in New Delhi, in the presence of Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Chairman of Investopia.
Full of confidence in the Indian market
Al Maidoor said: “The signing of the MoU with CII reflects Investopia’s vision and confidence in the Indian market, one of the most important global strategic markets, full of promising investment and trade prospects. It builds on the platform launched in India The Global Dialogue, the first outside the UAE, will include two meetings in Mumbai and New Delhi in May 2022.”
“Joining hands with CII, we look forward to sharing experience and knowledge as well as business missions to promote investment opportunities in the Indian and UAE markets in new economy sectors, especially circular economy, family business, renewable energy, tourism, technology and innovation” she added.
Through this partnership, CII will participate in the third annual Investopia conference, scheduled for 28-29 February 2024 in the UAE. — trade arab news agency
