Etihad Airways and Talabat join forces to explore a series of exciting new initiatives

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, and Talabat, the leading food delivery and q-commerce platform in the region, have signed a regional memorandum of understanding (MoU). According to the agreement, the two organizations will cooperate on a series of initiatives that will benefit customers and employees of Etihad Airways and Talabat.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Tony Douglas, CEO of Etihad Aviation Group, and Tomaso Rodriguez, CEO of Talabat, today at the Etihad headquarters in Abu Dhabi, foreshadowing This organization began to participate in the Etihad Guest’Miles on the Go’ program. Etihad frequent flyer members can now earn and use Etihad frequent flyer miles when ordering food, groceries and other necessities on the talabat platform. Members who have downloaded the Etihad Frequent Flyer mobile app and registered for an eligible Visa card can earn 1 mile for every 3 dirhams spent using the talabat platform of the linked card. The app will also prompt members to choose whether they want to earn miles or redeem miles in transactions.

The memorandum of understanding also marks a closer connection between the organizations in the future. Both parties are committed to exploring a wide range of innovative projects that will benefit customers, members and employees in the Middle East and North Africa region of Etihad and Talabat.

Talabat customers who want to start earning miles on the Etihad frequent flyer platform can register for freeonetihadguest.com, and Etihad frequent flyer members who want to start earning and spending miles through the talabat platform can download Etihad Frequent Flyer app and register their Visa card for mileage on the journey.
