Elife TV subscribers may not be able to access the beIN channel starting next month, it was announced on Sunday. In a media statement, etisalat by e& informed its clients and stakeholders that the channels “may not be live on 1 June”.

The telco did not specify why, but said that further updates will be communicated to our valued customers via email, text message and/or on our website on or before 1 June 2023.

Etisalat by e& offers subscribers access to the beIN channel through its elife package.

BeIN is a global sports and entertainment media group with 60 channels. Its sports channels are popular among UAE residents as they air some of the major high-profile sporting events.

This is not the first time the Qatar-based broadcaster’s channels have been taken off the air in the UAE. In June 2018, Du temporarily suspended the beIN sports channel. A year ago, residents were without access to the channel for more than a month.
