The interior of Akropolis Klaipėda, the largest shopping and entertainment center in western Lithuania, managed by Akropolis Group, is undergoing a major interior modernization. 7.7 million euros will be invested in the refurbishment of public spaces, and the works will be carried out without affecting the normal operation of the mall.
“The Akropolis Klaipėda shopping and entertainment center has been in operation since 2005, and its stores are regularly renovated and new brands are constantly being introduced. The modernization of the public shopping and entertainment space aims to strengthen Akropolis’ position as A wide selection of goods, services and leisure venues as well as the most convenient shopping experience. The refurbishment of the interior of the shopping center will be the largest in its history. A major overhaul of sanitary facilities has already begun – most of which have welcomed visitors with larger, brighter rooms, convenient doorless entrances, and hygiene-wise safety. The shopping center also offers 3 newly furnished, modern and spacious nursery rooms for your convenience.
“We tried to bring more light into the shopping and entertainment center by replacing shades of gray with white, introducing daylight-simulating lighting solutions, and making the public areas more spacious and open. The first batch of hutong renovation projects will start in June, and the project implementation time is expected to be about one year.
“We plan to carry out the renovation work in stages, the active work on the alleys will be carried out in the evening, so all sales and service areas will be open as usual and visitors will be able to use all amenities,” said D. Meltinas.
The interior design of the Vilnius Acropolis was revamped in 2019 along similar principles. The modernization then affected an area of more than 40,000 square meters for shopping, entertainment and public spaces, equivalent to five football fields.
