New in cinemas this weekend
One word, dunes. This philosophical science fiction drama is director Dennis Villeneuve’s interpretation of the classic Frank Herbert science fiction novel of the same name, and it serves as a relaunch of the 1984 film. This version of the cast is led by the talented Timothée Chalamet, who works with Josh Brolin, Oscar Isaac, and Zendaya. Starred with Jason Momoa. The story tells the story of Paul Atredes (Chalamet), a young man who is involved in a power struggle on the distant planet Alakis. The galaxy’s most precious resource, a kind of enhanced performance called Melange spices”. But can this version satisfy notoriously picky Herbert fans? As can be seen from the trailer, the required epic and dismal quotas are catching up, the cast seems absolutely inspired, and it does leave us with the expected lingering situation of goosebumps.

Fire and brick stone
We love the sunset brunch in the evening, and the rooftop party at Aloft Abu Dhabi’s Brick will return this Thursday after the summer vacation. It is set to the sound of live acoustic music, held every Thursday, and all dishes come directly from the venue’s iconic brick oven. The brunch lineup includes delicacies such as slow-cooked ribeye, four cheese pizzas, cedar plank boiled salmon and other delicacies, and the last boom-bonfire s’mores.

for love pain
Bread, not a feeling of extreme discomfort. The Khalifa City branch in La Brioche has been closed for a three-month renovation, but we are now happy to confirm-they are back. In addition to delicious coffee (and brioche of course), this French-themed cafe is also a gourmet pastry shop that offers the most fragrant butter-baked carbohydrates.

Watch double
US To try the new Duo brunch At the Intercontinental Hotel, I was immediately fascinated. It is held in their two flagship restaurants-the popular Pan-Asian restaurant Cho Gao and the world-class Churrascaria Chamas. Fill it with flame-cooked meat, delicious dim sum, seafood salad and some other exciting curveballs (yelling at chicken and rice stalls with chili sauce).
