Ukraine raids Putin’s ex-wife’s daughter’s mansion? | world news

A recent drone strike in the Russian capital Moscow likely targeted a string of properties owned by associates with links to the Kremlin. Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized the May 30 drone attack on the Rublevka highway, saying “they are provoking us to follow their example.” It is the house of Vladimir Putin’s ex-wife and his daughter.

Vladimir Putin has created an elite hotspot for his daughter and ex-wife around his official residence west of Moscow – known as “Tsar’s Village”. The Times reported that the four mansions and the Russian presidential palace are located along the Rublevka highway, which is also home to government officials, celebrities and tycoons.

Details of the homes come from Katerina Tikhonova, the youngest of Vladimir Putin’s two daughters, and her ex-husband, Kirill Shamalov. ) between email leaks. The two were reportedly married from 2013 to 2016.

In leaked emails, the couple discussed a $9 million renovation.

Putin’s ex-wife, 65-year-old Lyudmila Ocheretnaya, also reportedly lives in the “tsarist village” targeted by the drone attack. She and Putin announced their divorce in 2013.



Spending on Vladimir Putin’s personal security has soared this year as the Kremlin stepped up measures to keep the Russian leader safe during Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine, Russian government data showed. Security spending for Vladimir Putin and his staff reached 15 billion rubles ($185.7 billion) — 77 percent of the annual budget allocation.
