UAE weather: Red, yellow alerts issued as fog reduces visibility – News

The UAE’s National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued red and yellow alerts warning residents of fog forming in parts of the country. Abu Dhabi Police also issued warning messages to motorists and urged them to obey the changing speed limit displayed on electronic boards. Visibility has dropped to less than 1,000 meters in some areas.

The weather in the country on Sunday will be mostly sunny with partly cloudy weather. According to the NCM, the temperature will gradually increase. It will be wet overnight and Monday morning, with fog or mist likely to form along the western coast. There are occasional breezes and strokes.

Abu Dhabi and Dubai will see a maximum of 41°C today. The emirates will see lows of 27°C and 28°C respectively. Humidity levels will be between 20% and 80%.

United Arab Emirates Al Jazeera BG (Al Dhafra region) recorded a maximum temperature of 43.5°C in the country on Saturday at 14:15 local time in the United Arab Emirates.
