Dubai South Properties has awarded AED1 billion (US$272.2 million) major contracts to Ginco General Contracting for the initial phase of developing South Bay, a major development in the heart of residential Dubai South, next to Expo Road .
After the project is completed, there will be more than 800 spacious villas and townhouses, as well as more than 200 luxury seaside mansions, a 1-kilometer crystal lagoon, more than 3 kilometers of seaside promenade, as well as multiple beaches, clubhouses, and fitness centers and lush parks.
South Bay’s picturesque waterfront location offers a variety of spacious townhomes, villas and beachfront mansions.
The townhouses and semi-detached villas range in size from 2,900 square feet to 5,500 square feet and include three, four and five bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, the developer said.
On the other hand, luxury beachfront mansions will feature detached villas in five-, six-, and seven-bedroom units, with built-up areas ranging from approximately 9,000 to 14,000 square feet.
Dubai South Properties said the project is scheduled to be completed by the first quarter of 2026.
Ideally located in a residential area, South Bay offers residents first-class amenities including shopping centers, fitness centers, spas, kids clubs and water parks, as well as waterfront cafes, lake parks and private beaches.
