Full List of Airport Charges Nationwide

[ad_1]

Need to drive to the airport? While we usually take a taxi to the airport when we go abroad, sometimes it is more convenient to drive to the airport yourself, especially if it is difficult to find a taxi or you will only be away for a few days.

Yes, you can park your car long term at the airport as all airports in the UAE offer long term parking options.

Here’s everything you need to know about the various parking rates at the airport. This will also guide how much you will have to pay the next time you drive to pick up family or friends from the airport. Also find out which airports offer free (zero dirham fee) parking.

DXB parking fee

Dubai International Airport (DXB) has three terminals – DXB T1, DXB T2 and DXB T3 – with different parking rates.

All day or 24 hour parking at Car Park A (Premium Zone), 2-3 minutes walk from the terminal, costs AED 125 and each additional day costs AED 100. You can also park your car in Car Park B (Economy Zone; 7-8 min walk to the terminal) for 85 AED for 24 hours, with an additional charge of 75 AED for each additional day.

Please note that from 8th June this year, only public transport and authorized vehicles will be able to enter the Arrivals Forecourt of Terminal 1. Cars coming to pick up passengers will have access to either of the two parking lots or valet parking.

free parking

Al Maktoum International Airport, also known as Dubai World Central (DWC), is the only major UAE airport to offer free parking in both the arrivals and departures areas.

Earlier this year, it was reported that an earlier AED 120 billion plan to expand the DWC in phases would continue. Dubai’s second international airport opened for cargo operations on June 27, 2010, followed by passenger flights in October 2013, with a terminal capacity of 5-7 million passengers. When complete, the DWC will be the largest global gateway in the world, accommodating more than 160 million passengers per year. It will also serve as an intermodal logistics hub for 12 million tons of freight.
