The construction and building materials industry in Abu Dhabi covers an area of ​​12.8 million square meters and is still growing

AD Ports Group announced today that in August 2021, the number of licenses issued for the construction and building materials industries in its industrial cities and free zone clusters has reached 281, covering an area of ​​12,765,938 square meters.

As an important sector of the UAE economy, the total market size of the construction industry in 2020 is 101.45 billion U.S. dollars. According to analysts, the UAE’s construction and building materials market is very mature and is expected to reach USD 133.53 billion by 2026, with an annual growth rate of 4.69% throughout 2021-2026.

The industrial city and free zone clusters of AD Ports Group have attracted the interest of more and more industry leaders. The cluster occupies more than 550 square kilometers of industrial and commercial land and has more than 1,500 local, regional and international companies.
