Emirates News Agency – Mansour bin Zayed chairs Ministerial Development Committee meeting, discusses initiatives to develop government work ecosystem

ABU DHABI, 13th June, 2023 (WAM) — Chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in the Presidency, the Ministerial Development Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi held a conference dealing with a number of legislation, policies and initiatives to develop the government work ecosystem.

The Council discusses legislation regulating many industries, including auditors, business establishments, arbitration, and the restructuring of medical and pharmaceutical products.

During the meeting, the council reviewed a number of regulatory policies and decisions on electric vehicles in the country, as well as the implementation of the federal government’s human resources law.

The Council also reviewed several new technologies in the areas of transportation and mapping software within the Regulatory Lab, in coordination with various ministries and stakeholders.

Also on the agenda was a series of regulatory decisions targeting the education sector, as well as a review of the UAE Federal National Council’s proposals for a national sports strategy.

The Council discussed the framework for organizing international and regional meetings and events in the country and reviewed a number of government reports.
