Le Méridien Dubai & Convention Center has appointed Wojtek Orlewicz as Director of General Rooms, responsible for overseeing all aspects of guest accommodation, from reception to housekeeping and amenities.
Wojtek, former Director of Rooms at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, will work closely with the hotel’s senior team to ensure guests receive exceptional service during their stay, while also being responsible for mentoring and developing his team of 340 employees.
His portfolio of six hotels includes Le Méridien Dubai and Convention Centre, Le Meridien Waterway, Aloft Al Mina and Aloft Dubai Airport, Element Al Mina and Element Dubai Airport, totaling 1,247 properties guest room.

Orlewicz rejoins Marriott International in early 2023, having previously worked there from 2004 to 2010. He started at Marriott Executive Apartments as Head of Guest Relations and Communications and transferred to JW Marriott Hotel Dubai in 2006 as Guest Relations Manager.
Wojtek started his hospitality career in 2001 at the Hyatt Regency in Warsaw, Poland before moving to the United Arab Emirates. He went on to build an extensive career in hotel operations and management before moving to Abu Dhabi in 2017 to take up the position of Executive Assistant Manager at Saadiyat Rotana Resort and Villas.
Wojtek holds a BA in Hospitality Management from WSHGiT in Warsaw, Poland and a MA in Tourism Economics from WSE in Warsaw, Poland. He is also an active member of the AICR (Amicale Internationale des Sous Directeurs et Chefs de Reception). – trade arab news agency
