The Greenville music venue plans to move to a new location for the second time since its original location opened on North Pleasenberg Avenue.
Founded in 2012 by Upstate natives David Raghib and Geoff Canada, The Radio Room moved to a new location at 110. Poinsett Highway in the summer of 2017 with the addition of recent owner Wes Gilliam.
The music venue will be relocated to 28 Liberty Lane in Greenville, just behind the Warehouse at Midtown off Laurens Road.
Gilliam said their lease is coming to an end and the business has grown beyond the current space and the new venue will offer more space and parking, more convenience for headliners and patrons.
“More space and parking is a big thing for us,” Gilliam added. “We’ll also have more stage space, which is also important for our shows to fit all their equipment.”

All three partners have been working together for a while, Gilliam said, and are moving into this new space organically by listening to the market and doing more.

Gilliam said they have not yet discussed changing much of the menu and will continue to offer quality food and drink that complements their music programming.
