The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted that the “tropical storm” in the Arabian Sea off the coast of India and Pakistan will weaken to a tropical depression within the next 12 hours.
It will then transform into an air low pressure before dissipating as it moves north-northeast. Winds around the center of the storm are expected to be between 40-60 km/h, moving at 12 km/h.
The center classified the current status of the Arabian Sea as a “tropical storm” off the coast of India and Pakistan at 23.5 degrees north latitude and 69.9 degrees east longitude. Winds around the center of the storm are estimated to be between 65 and 75 kilometers per hour, with cumulus clouds and rain in the surrounding area. However, it has been confirmed that the storm will not have any impact on the country.
