Conmix chooses Renault Trucks to expand premix fleet

Conmix, part of the Bukhatir Group and the main supplier of ready-mix concrete to the UAE, has struck a deal with auto giant Renault Trucks to expand its fleet.

Under the agreement, Renault Trucks’ distributor United Diesel will supply the company with 10 Renault Trucks K440 P8x4 Heavy E5 equipped with Liebherr 12 CBM mixers for transporting ready-mixed concrete in the UAE.

It said Conmix’s new addition, which is already operational, will optimize ready-mix concrete logistics at its production facilities with a total capacity of 180,000 cubic meters per month.

Ayman Ismail Ahmed, CEO of Bukhatir Group, expressed his delight at the partnership between United Diesel and Renault Trucks, which will expand with these 10 new mixer trucks its fleet.

He said the Renault Trucks K440 is known for its robustness, excellent reliability and optimum fuel efficiency. The trucks will help meet Conmix’s operational needs and ensure maximum driver productivity and safety, he added.

The K-series models feature an Optidriver manual transmission with automatic gearshift, and Renault Trucks’ unique Optibrake exhaust braking system, rated at 300kW, for increased driver safety.

Its key USPs include Hill Start Assist, Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Emergency Brake Assist (AFU) and Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), he added.
