The Road and Traffic Authority (RTA) announced on Saturday that the Dubai Expo 2020 Metro Station will start operations on October 1, synchronizing with the official opening of Expo 2020.

Route service hours in 2020
The red and green lines of the Dubai Metro will provide passenger services from Saturday to Wednesday from 5 am to 1:15 am the next day.
On Thursday, the service hours are from 5 am to 2.15 am the next morning, and from 8 am to 1.15 am on Friday.
The service frequency is every 2:38 minutes during peak hours. Dubai Tram will be available from Saturday to Thursday from 6 am to 1 am the next day and Friday from 8 am to 1 am the next day.
Expo 2020 Bus
The Expo bus will start operating at 6:30 in the morning and will continue to serve for 90 minutes after the Expo gate is closed.
Passenger commuting services from the parking lot (Expo parking lot shuttle) to the three Expo gates will start at 9 am and will last 90 minutes after the Expo gate is closed.
The bus service between Expo Gates (Expo People Mover) will start at 6.30 in the morning and will continue 90 minutes after Expo Gates closes. Taxis and e-hailing services will operate around the clock.
Fact: The 2020 route extends from the Jebel Ali Metro Station on the Red Line to the Expo 2020 Station, with a total length of 15 kilometers.

The route connects seven stations: one interchange station, three elevated stations, two underground stations and one iconic station: Expo 2020.
The elevated station has an area of 8,100 to 8,800 square meters, and the two underground stations have an area of 27,000 to 28,700 square meters. The Expo Station covers an area of 18,800 square meters.
