ZainTech, the ICT enterprise arm of the Zain Group, has signed a strategic agreement with UAE operator du to provide enterprises in the country with enterprise products covering IoT, cloud services and drone technology.
The partnership will allow them to pool resources, collaborate on go-to-market strategies and underpin ESG and sustainability values, the two companies said in a joint statement.
Under the agreement, ZainTech and du will provide a suite of ICT services to meet the growing needs of enterprise customers, including green IoT, application modernization, cloud infrastructure, drone-as-a-service and international connectivity, among others.
The partners claim this will drive digitization across the UAE as government and commercial organizations can access a range of services from a single source.

ZainTech CEO Andrew Hanna also commented on the collaboration (Pictured, left), said the collaboration will “drive sustainable growth in the UAE by enabling businesses and governments to embrace ESG principles and leverage cutting-edge technologies”.
Founded in 2021, ZainTech lists a range of services on its website, including cybersecurity, cloud, data analytics, and drones and robotics. It operates in eight markets in the Middle East and North Africa.
The ICT sector lists Microsoft, Red Hat, AWS, and Huawei as well-known tech companies it works with.
Earlier this year, ZainTech acquired a UAE-based cloud and data analytics company adfork Expanding its product portfolio, the deal follows its acquisition of cloud player BIOS in 2022.
