Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant led his team to a frustrating match, beating the Rajasthan Royals with 33 points and leading the Indian Super League on Saturday.
Pant scored 24 points and Shreyas Iyer scored 43 because Delhi shot 154 points on 6 of their 20 games. The batsman goalkeeper then got two catches and a trip, allowing Rajasthan to struggle 17-3 in their chase.

This is only the third time Delhi has won 154 times or less in the IPL-all three games against Rajasthan.
But this victory allowed them to lead the Chennai Super Kings by two points in the eight-team league. They have not officially entered the playoffs, but none of the teams failed to qualify with 16 points.
Al is Delhi’s top scorer, because the wicket often drops on the other end, so he scored 43 points.
The opening match Prithvi Shaw (10) and Shikhar Dhawan (8) went cheap, allowing Iyer and Pant to score Delhi’s best 62 points at the third wicket.

“I think the total can be chased, but we lost too many wickets to gain any momentum,” Samson said, adding that the next game might change because his team is still Competing for the playoffs.
