UAE residents can earn AED 1,000 through part-time jobs, see details

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) allows employees to work part-time and earn up to AED 10,000 per month as supplementary income.

Under UAE law, employees can seek approval from the Ministry of Human Resources and the Emirates to work for more than one employer at the same time.

Recruitment experts stress that part-time jobs in the UAE offer competitive hourly wages, with actual earnings varying according to the skills of the employee.

Mayank Patel, vice president of sales (Eastern Europe and MENA) and regional head of Middle East at Adecco, a global human resources solutions company, emphasizes that suitability for part-time work may depend on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, industry or the urgency of the employer to complete the project .

  • Part-time working hours may vary based on personal preferences and job requirements.
  • Employees will be paid hourly wages.
  • The ideal part-time job is between six and 20 hours a week, Patel added.
