The National Defense Academy and the Abu Dhabi Government School sign a memorandum of understanding to develop a unique joint training program

The National Defense College (NDC) and Abu Dhabi Government College (ADSG) today signed a memorandum of understanding. The agreement sees the development of a unique joint training program to promote knowledge exchange and enhance the leadership capabilities of participants, while also being aligned with the broader strategy of UAE wise leadership.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Major General Aqab Shahin Aqab Alali, Commander of NDC, and Mohammed Gheyath Mohammed, Acting Director General of ADSG.

ADSG Dean HE Sumaya Abdul Aziz AlHosani and the faculty and staff of the National Defense Academy also attended the signing ceremony.

Commenting on the signing, Major General AqabShahinAqabAlali said: “As a long-term partner of ADSG, their commitment to achieving a sustainable knowledge economy is truly encouraging, and we are very happy to be part of their huge efforts. We look forward to providing our expertise and Resources to support their efforts and contribute to the development of these special projects.”

ADSG Acting Director-General, HE Mohammed Gheyath Mohammed (HE Mohammed Gheyath Mohammed) added: “At ADSG, our work is closely integrated with the instructions of the Government Support Department to strengthen, collaborate, coordinate and communicate with governments. Inter-departmental venues. This agreement is part of our efforts to support Abu Dhabi’s human capital, through our world-class plans and initiatives to improve their ability to meet future challenges and take advantage of future opportunities.

Your Excellency added: “Our partnership with NDC is particularly important because the Academy plays an indispensable role in honing strategic skills that can keep up with the rapidly growing needs of the industry, as well as their expertise in research and information. Knowledge is the goal and vision of the emirate government department.

As they continue to realize our vision of wise leadership, we are happy to work with them to realize the UAE’s plan to build a prosperous and sustainable future. “

The agreement between NDC and ADSG involves the development and organization of joint education and training programs and courses, which include, but are not limited to, a master’s program in strategy and security studies, and an advanced course in strategy and strategic leadership.

The agreement also includes the exchange of research journals and products, the sharing of insights on topics of common interest, and cooperation in research and development. In addition, the two entities will jointly organize practical seminars and workshops, as well as the participation of both parties in strategically significant meetings and events.

NDC is a world leader in developing strategic capabilities and is a major source of strategy and security research. Their military and civilian leadership training programs enhance the capabilities of participants and enable them to have a deeper understanding of the conditions required to manage and utilize national resources to protect national interests.

The mission of ADSG is to supervise the development of the skills of Abu Dhabi government employees by providing training courses on best international practices that meet the needs, vision and aspirations of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
