Emirates News Agency – Abu Dhabi to host Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Show on 2 September

ABU DHABI, 3rd July, 2023 (WAM) — Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Naha, Representative of the Ruler of the Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falcon Club, EFC, Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the 20th Abu Dhabi International Equestrian Exhibition for Hunting and Hunting Events (ADIHEX 2023) will be held from 2-8 September 2023.

The exhibition, the largest of its kind in the Middle East and Africa, will showcase 11 different disciplines including Arts and Crafts, Equestrianism, Falconry, Safari Tours and Hunting, Hunting and Camping Equipment, Hunting and Shooting Sport Firearms and Equipment, Environmental and cultural heritage preservation, outdoor recreational vehicles and equipment, veterinary products and services, fishing equipment and marine sports, and the media.

In order to meet the needs of visitors and exhibitors, the ADIHEX Senior Organizing Committee announced that the exhibition will be held for the third time in its history and will last for 7 days. Local, regional and international companies have all applauded this qualitative shift in exhibition development strategy, which reflects increasing public participation and meets the wishes of falconry, hunting, equestrian and heritage enthusiasts.

The next ADIHEX will be hosted by the Emirates Falcon Club with the theme “Sustainability and Heritage…a desire for rebirth” with official sponsorship from the Abu Dhabi Environment Authority, the International Hobara Conservation Foundation (IFHC), and events The venue is Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC). It is worth noting that more than 900 companies and brands from 58 countries participated in the last exhibition, with an exhibition area of ​​more than 60,000 square meters, providing about 150,000 visitors with the latest technologies, innovations and innovations in the falconry, hunting and equestrian industries. Trends, including hunting and camping equipment, accessories and falconry tools as well as traditional and modern hunting methods, plus the world’s best hunting destinations.

The last ADIHEX attracted 127 speakers who presented their technology, skills, vision and professional experience through 134 specialized seminars representing sources of knowledge, awareness and means of business success and growth. The workshops are organized into four educational platforms: Sustainability, Outdoor Adventure, Arts and Crafts, and Connecting with Nature.

More than 100 live performances of raptors, Salukis, police dogs (K9) and more were also held on site. Wonderful heritage and sports performances enhanced the appeal of the exhibition. In addition, educational activities and innovative arts, culture and science competitions enhanced the the attractiveness of the exhibition. It attracted hundreds of entrants.

The camel and falcon auction was a highlight of the event, providing an invaluable opportunity to gain insight into some of the most important pillars of Emirati and Arabian heritage and authentic traditions.
