Beginning Tuesday, June 11 at 7pm, Alma’s Wright Avenue Park will host free performances as the “Night in the Park” series returns.
The six-week series kicks off on July 11 with “Music Cabaret” featuring performers from Al Bartholomew and the Gratiot County Players, featuring a selection of music from a variety of former Players.
– July 18 will bring the Third Coast Steel Drum Band.
– On July 25th, the Broken Glass String Band will perform.
-While August 1st has not yet been set, Lisa Yoder will be publishing a historical review of Glaciert County and Alma on August 8th.
On August 15th, the Central Michigan Area Concert Band will cap off the season with a performance.
The rain venue for these evenings will be at HIS Place.
The series is curated by a committee of the Pine River Arts Council. The generous sponsorship of Point Broadband made it financially possible.
Bring your own chairs, picnic, family and friends to enjoy each of these six nights of summer entertainment.
