The Indian expatriate from Umm Al Quwain won the AED15 million grand prize in the 253rd draw series of Big Ticket in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
Mohammed Ali Moideen was lucky enough to get a ticket number 061908 purchased on June 7. However, when the showrunner called Moidin, he barely heard the good news on the phone.
“I can’t hear you; the music is too loud,” he said.
The phone was hung up as Richard screamed that Moidin had won the Dh15 million jackpot.
The organizers will contact Moideen after the show.
Meanwhile, individuals can purchase tickets online through the official Big Ticket website or at in-store counters at Abu Dhabi International Airport and Al Ain Airport.
