ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates – The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi) has announced a series of unique and stunning Ramadan events throughout the holy month of various A variety of Iftar and Ramadan dining experiences and visitors immerse themselves in the history and culture of Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

Featuring storytelling and traditional music nights under the stars, cultural workshops and wellness sessions, a retail pop-up store and a Ramadan arcade, the entire community can come together to celebrate Ramadan and make new cultural connections. Here are a few experiences to get you in the spirit of Ramadan.

Louvre Abu Dhabi

Manama at Louvre Abu Dhabi

March 22 to April 22

Louvre Abu Dhabi will host three cultural events over three nights in a series titled ‘Manama’ that pays homage to the region’s architectural tradition of trapping heat in the ground and sealing it with thatched palm fronds. The evening included two presentations on the history and rich heritage of UAE architecture as well as oud and calligraphy performances. Attendance is free every evening, but advance reservations are required.

Reflections on the cultural heritage of the Louvre Abu Dhabi

15 February – 15 May, daily from 6:30pm to midnight

The concrete beach of Louvre Abu Dhabi will be wowed by mesmerizing projections on the promenade. Iconic images of UAE heritage will come to life on the waterfront surface, projecting cultural events and traditions, urban and rural landscapes, urban and rural landscapes, as well as portraits of people and urban lifestyles at sea and desert travelers.

Salt Camp: Art leaves the frame of Louvre Abu Dhabi

24 February – 30 April, 1pm – 12am

UAE favorite Salt invites all art and food lovers to experience a one-of-a-kind journey at the iconic Louvre Abu Dhabi with its pop-up “Art Has Leaving the Frame”, a 3D art world where one can Experience the works of classical artists like never before. On a raised stage, nestled in the sand, Camp Salt hosts live acts ranging from jugglers to oud players.

Ramadan Arcades at Manarat Al Saadiyat

April 6-April 16, 8am-10pm daily

The Ramadan Arcade at Manarat Al Saadiyat invites visitors to embrace cultural traditions in a contemporary community setting this Ramadan, with an exciting cultural, social and entertainment offering such as games, workshops, lectures, art and more.

QASR AL HOSN

Ramadan of Al Hosn

March 31-April 3, 9pm-1am – Entrance fee, AED 30 per person

The four-day celebration during Ramadan welcomes guests to traditional Ramadan activities, including live entertainment, food vendors and hands-on activities at cultural landmark Qasr Al Hosn. For the first two days, the area between Qasr Al Hosn and the Artisans’ House will be dedicated to women, while the rest of the Al Hosn site will be open to the public.

Ramadan Ein Hafeet

March 23-April 11, 9pm-3am – general admission, AED 10 per person

Al Ain welcomes all guests to experience the new Ramadan at Hafeet, showcasing the joys of Emirati culture and the spirit of Al Ain. Set against the backdrop of Jabel Hafeet Mountain, the engaging three-week event features culture, food, arts, family fun, shopping and live entertainment. Visitors can enjoy a unique culinary experience at the “Jalst Ramadan” area located on an elevated platform. Tables for four start from AED 600, plus VIP access.

Oasis Ramadan Night

March 1-April 15, daily from 10pm to 1am

The popular Oasis Ramadan Nights returns this Ramadan with a host of cultural events, dining experiences and family entertainment at Oasis Al Ain, in addition to the unique “Live from Oasis” show “Al Shara”, a Popular TV shows aired on Abu Dhabi and Emarat channels.

Ramadan talks at Al Ain Palace Museum

April 13-15

A program to hold lectures on topics of knowledge and faith at the Al Ain Palace Museum, hosted by scholars recognized by the Ministry of Awqaf or by guests of His Highness the President or Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities and Sciences.

Fridays only, March 24th and 31st, April 7th and 14th

To revive the tradition of harees meal preparation, Al Ain Palace Museum and its community will distribute harees to neighbors during Ramadan, bringing back the same tradition of the late Sheikh Zayed who used to do this when he lived with his family in Al Ain Go to the Palace Museum.

The Al Ain Story of Al Jahili Fort

April 11, starting at 10pm

Stories of Al Ain is a storytelling experience where experts, historians and community figures will tell stories and anecdotes about Al Ain’s history, social practices and its people. Tonight, the storytelling focuses on the majestic Jebel Hafeet mountain range and its surroundings.

Bait Mohammed bin Khalifa Ramadan Program

March 24th, April 3rd & 11th, starting at 10pm

Throughout Ramadan, Bait Mohammed Bin Khalifa will host a variety of live music evenings inspired by the month’s spirituality and oriental music genres, including oud, kanon, violin and flute performances.

Bait Mohammed bin Khalifa Monawaat Music Program

24 March – 21 April, specific dates during Ramadan

The stage will host the Monawaat music program at Bait Mohammed bin Khalifa during Eid, where there will be a Jalsaat session of Emirati and Khaleeji music and performers, bringing to life the nostalgic atmosphere of Jalsat, especially of the 90s and early 2000s.

April 1st to end of Ramadan

Opening for the first time in the UAE, Fendi Café Majlis will open at Tasha’s in Al Bateen, the perfect place to catch up with friends during Ramadan.

The region’s first Charlotte Tilbury Majlis will welcome guests with a specially curated and iconic Charlotte Tilbury Ramadan café in the heart of Abu Dhabi. The lavish dining concept takes over Mamsha Saadiyat’s Café Society to deliver unforgettable Ramadan experiences through exclusive consumer-led masterclasses led by the brand’s global makeup artists.

Dyptique takes over Ethr Café

April 6 to the end of Ramadan

Global fragrance brand Dyptique will take over Mamsha Saadiyat’s Ethr Café, bringing the Dyptique Café concept to life through specialist menus and workshops.
