“I can’t believe it’s been a year since the hardest day of my life happened.

“Losing a child has got to be the heaviest, darkest and most depressing experience I’ll ever get over. The mixture of guilt, pain and grief is something I repress every day.

“I’m far from perfect, make mistakes and make decisions in my life that a lot of people question, but anyone who knows me knows my heart.

Cannon confirmed his paternity the following month after model Alyssa, 29, said on Instagram in October that she was pregnant with her third child.

He is also father to twins Moroccan and Monroe, 11, and ex-wife Mariah Carey, son Golden, 5, and daughter Powerful, 2, who are also with Brittany and 17-month-old twins Zion and Zillion and Abby.

But he hinted that he could have more children, as when Billboard asked him last month if he planned to add to his family, he replied he “didn’t know.”
