Sheikh Mohamed said: “With the establishment of the Abraham Family of Abu Dhabi, we remain committed to harnessing the power of mutual respect, understanding and diversity for mutual progress.”

inspiration

The Abraham Family House was inspired by the Human Fraternity Document signed during Pope Francis’ visit to the UAE in February 2019.

The entire complex reflects the shared values of Islam, Christianity and Judaism. It also includes a cultural center that will embody human solidarity, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.

It will serve as a community for interreligious dialogue and exchange, fostering the values of peaceful coexistence and acceptance among different faiths, peoples and cultures.

Additionally, the complex will offer a variety of daily programs and events, and will host international conferences and world summits that promote harmonious co-existence in the community.

iconic design

The structure is derived from three beliefs, the lens is used to define similarity and difference, and the power of these revelations is used to create form.

The design is characterized by the iconic geometry of three cubes, evoking the character of traditional architecture while retaining its uniqueness.

The names of the three houses of worship that will form the Abraham Family House in Abu Dhabi have been revealed – Imam Tayeb Mosque, St Francis Church and Moses ben Maimon Synagogue.
