Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the first low-cost airline in the UAE capital, has launched direct flights from Abu Dhabi to Baku, Azerbaijan.
Direct flights will connect Abu Dhabi International Airport and Heydar Aliyev International Airport three times a week (Wednesday/Friday/Sunday) starting September 13, 2023.
Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, said: “We are delighted to launch direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Baku, a city that combines Europe and Asia. Baku is our departure point from the capital of the UAE. An important route in the expansion plan, it reinforces our commitment to provide customers with greater choice, convenience and enhanced connectivity, while supporting the aviation and tourism industries in both countries.”
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi continues to strengthen its global connectivity to and from the UAE capital, with direct access to 32 destinations from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Air Arabia operates a fleet of 68 Airbus A320 and A321 neo-LR aircraft, the most modern and best-selling single-aisle aircraft in the world. The cabin configuration of the Air Arabia fleet offers more comfort, with one of the widest seat pitches in any economy class.
The aircraft is equipped with “SkyTime,” a free inflight streaming service that allows passengers to stream a variety of entertainment directly to their devices. Passengers can also enjoy a wide range of delicacies between snacks, meals and sandwiches at affordable prices from the onboard “SkyCafe” menu.
The otherworldly city of Baku is a must-see, offering travelers anthropological sites, modern boulevards and panoramic views, as well as sizzling lakes and mud volcanoes for the adventurous.
