Abu Dhabi Integrated Transport Center (ITC) announced on Thursday that eight buses will be deployed to transport tourists from Monday to Thursday and 10 buses will be deployed from various locations in Abu Dhabi to Sheikh Zayed Day from Friday to Sunday ,vice versa.
The free service will operate 30 times a day from Monday to Thursday. This number will increase to 36 daily from Friday to Sunday and public holidays. Service frequency will be between 25 and 30 minutes.
The route departs from the main bus station in Abu Dhabi to the Co-Operative Society supermarket in Labudan. From there, it will continue to the Baniyas Court car park and finally to the festival grounds at Al Wathba.
Outbound tours will run Monday through Thursday from 3pm to 10pm with a frequency of 30 minutes. Departures from Sheikh Zayed Day to major cities will start at 4:30pm and run until 11:30pm every 30 minutes.
From Friday to Sunday and public holidays, outbound tours will run from 3:00pm to 9:30pm, with 30-minute shifts. Return trips from the festival grounds will begin at 4:30pm and run until midnight with 30-minute intervals between trips.
On all weekdays, the journey from the festival site to Abu Dhabi’s main bus station takes approximately one and a half hours via Rabdan and Baniyas.
