Parking and tolls will not be charged during the four-day Eid al-Adha holiday starting Tuesday.
“From Tuesday, June 27, 2023 until Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 7:59 am, MAWAQiF ground parking fees will be free. Also, parking fees at the Musaffah M-18 truck park will be free. Abu Dha Than the Integrated Transportation Center of the Municipality and the Ministry of Communications announced that there will be charges during Eid.
The ITC urges drivers to park properly in designated parking areas and not to park in residential parking spaces between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. The ITC also announced that the Darb toll system will be free from Tuesday.
“After the Hari Raya holiday on Saturday, July 1, the toll booth fees will be reintroduced during peak hours (7am-9am and 5pm-7pm). The purpose of the toll booths is to ensure that traffic flows during times when the congestion is worst .”.

Meanwhile, public buses will operate on their normal schedule, with increased regional bus frequency based on demand during the holidays. In addition, ITC is coordinating with private sector operators to increase the number of intercity bus services.
Additionally, the Abu Dhabi Express and Abu Dhabi Link bus services operate between 6am and 11pm during Eid.
