ABU DHABI – Surface parking in Abu Dhabi will be free during the holiday period from Thursday 1 December 2022 until Monday 5 December 2022 at 7:59am.
During the holiday period starting Thursday 1 December 2022, the Darb tollbooth system will be free and will operate during normal peak hours on Monday 5 December 2022 (from 07:00 AM to 09:00 AM and from 5 : 00:00 to 7:00).
The Integrated Transport Center (ITC) of the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport announced that public bus services will operate on a regular schedule for weekends and public holidays.
The ITC said that from Thursday, December 1, 2022, customer happiness centers across the emirate of Abu Dhabi will be closed for the holiday period and will resume normal working hours on Monday, December 5, 2022. Clients can continue to apply for ITC’s services through its website www.itc.gov.ae on its digital platform and Darb and Darbi Smart Apps. Additionally, customers can contact the Ministry of Municipalities and Transport Unified Service Support Center on toll free 800850 and Taxi Call Center 600535353, which are available 24/7.
It added that parking spaces at the Musaffah M-18 truck depot will also be free during statutory holidays.
In this regard, the ITC is calling on drivers to avoid parking in restricted areas and obstructing traffic. It also urges drivers to park properly in designated areas and avoid parking in residential parking spaces between 9:00pm and 8:00am.
As for the operating hours of public bus services in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, the ITC said that the bus services will operate according to the schedule of regular operation on weekends and statutory holidays.
